The peace of mind and soul which this sacrament imparts to us is one for which there is no substitute. It is a peace that flows from a certainty, rather than from an unsure hope, that our sins have been forgiven and that we are right with God.

First Reconciliation
First reconciliation takes place in second grade. Students must have attended first grade religious education classes, or have been students at St. Lucy’s or another Catholic Parochial School to be eligible. Parents are required to attend two parent meetings. In addition to the classroom work, students will be required to complete family related activities.
